Seeking Gold ran on resolutely to dead heat with Teenage Dream at the Vaal over 1700m on Thursday 14 December 2017. Under a strong ride from leading jockey Gavin Lerena he got up to share over a distance which is a bit on the short side for Seeking Gold. Congratulations to owner Hylton Odendaal. Seeking Gold was bred by Summerhill Stud!

Strydom gets “KJ” back to Winning Ways!

A masterful ride by Piere Strydom saw the talented Kangaroo Jack back in the winners box. “KJ” has been a bit unlucky in recent starts and there were excuses for his below par runs. However Tuesday night 12 December 2017 at Turffontein, Piere Strydom got the best out of “KJ” to win a competitive Pinnacle 1160m. It may pay to follow this son of Querari this season. Congratulations to owner Joyce Wallace and her family!

Radiant Splendour(AUS) Shines in Debut!

Coming from well off the pace, the Australian bred filly Radiant Splendour(AUS) produced a powerful finish to get up in the shadow of the post over 1160m at Turffontein on 26 November 2017.  Champion apprentice Lyle Hewitson once again producing the goods. Congratulations to owners Rob Scott & Mark Currie. Radiant Splendour was bred by Patinack Farm, NSW, Australia.

Cash Time Gives the Stable A Treble!

Cash Time had it all to do, first time at the Vaal and first time over 2000m, but he handled it well and under a top ride by former champion jockey Piere Strydom, he got the best out Cash Time to win a competitive race. It may pay to follow Cash Time through the season, he is a progressive sort and should continue improving. Congratulations to owners Mrs  Ebrahim And Messrs M Wright, P Haripersad & A Fortune. Cash Time was bred by Hemel n Aarde Stud.

Fish River Canyon Relishes The Soft Conditions!

Fish River Canyon  enjoyed the soft underfoot conditions to win the third race of her career in good style at the Vaal over 1500m on 23 November 2017. Once again well ridden by champion apprentice Lyle Hewitson, he gave her every chance and produced his run at the right time to win comfortably. Congratulations to owner Hylton Odendaal and his family. Fish River Canyon was bred by Summerhill Stud.
